Madame Elisabeth's orangerie in Montreuil neighbourhood is the venue for an exhibition about parcs and gardens in the Yvelines department of France of which Versailles is county town. It is very refreshing but alas, photos are not allowed inside... More about the historic building here.

The garden looks beautiful. I'm always perplexed why certain places like that don't want photos taken.
Such a serenity depicted in the picture. Beautiful
Nice lines.
Lovely garden, the fragrance must be something else. I like your composition here, Ciel.

Beautiful image Ciel, had a look at your first picture, has the garden changed a little or was that from a different spot?
Interesting and so lovely.
I like how the planters lead your eyes to the open door, nice composition.
It *really* bums me out when historical places will not permit photography.
Beautiful building; beautiful jardin! And when did a silly little rule about no photography allowed bother you? :-) Just shoot from the hip, old West style!
I love the plants in the terracotta pots. Like soldiers in a line.
I want a spy cam with a tiny lens that fits in my collar or eyeglasses or whatever. A pox upon all these "no photography" places.
It feels selfish visiting no photography places. Half the enjoyment comes from sharing.
I hate the places where they don't allow photographs!
Joli jardin mais ça me donne toujours envie de les ebourriffer et de mettre le fouillis! c'est que moi, j'aime les jardins sauvages! :)
so gracious and welcoming.
I would love to see an exhibition in this building. An exhibit and the ability to view the inside would be a well spent day.
A very pretty walkway with the pots.
I'm trying to get back to blogging, but standing in front of the kitchen sink is not so gemutlich. :)
Hopefully next week the internet will be full-time mine!
It looks beyond refreshing with all that green! Lovely :D
This 'no photo' thing is really annoying! I bet you would have taken great shots there. Well, this one is lovely.
By the way here's a little help: Portuguese pronunciation of Oeiras: [oˈɐjɾɐʃ]. :-)))
I hate it when you can't take photos. It's such a bummer :( But the photo of the garden is lovely.
Seems like a funny rule to not be able to take photos! I would think tourist photos would convince friends of the photographer that they need to visit the place too.
Ah well. Your music fills in nicely.
I wonder how they maintain the lawn so nicely with those planters standing on the grass.
You let a little "no photography" sign stop you?
