Les fenêtres étranges

Saturday VP in Livorno posted a lone street lamp with a salmon background. I dug into my fairly recent photos and here's the Versailles echo to his post: the house with strange windows at Notre-Dame covered market. Michelin Man is on Artsy Versailles today.

What a fun international connection between your blog postings today! Bravo!

I don't think they allow salmon-colored buildings anywhere in this country except Seattle and South Florida.

The sunlight was perfect and made for a wonderful photograph.

I loved the colors on VP's post and now I love the same salmon color on yours. Nice!

How cool is that? 1100km apart. Interesting contrast in the shot, but eerily similar.

I love the subtle orange, the windows and the beautiful lamp posts.

I dunno, but this is pretty "artsy" too. Nice colors! Love the lamps!

Yet another cool shot you've captured that I never would have thought to take. Bravo!

The glass almost looks like it's broken. Interesting.

Old farm houses were often this colour. Whats strange about the windows?

I didn't change the colours here but it was a lovely evening glow. The salmon is much lighter on a dreary day.

I was just asking myself if I'd seen this somewhere before! Lovely color...and with real windows here ;D

I obviously like this connection of strange windows and I quickly linked it back.

Re your question about the spiral staircase on CK: Many homes in Cedar Key are built on stilts. The staircase goes to the actual house which is, tada!, on stilts. But it's an old house and the staircase was an anomaly, being so bright and new.

CK's sea level is 0!
