The windows are very charming. It is the end of the summer here . . . more comfortable temperatures, but it brings the knowledge that colder weather is not far behind.
They are very different, but each charming in its own way. The first is, of course, more colorful which makes me think it might be your window - the window through which you see your Versailles world?
I hear your coming back to the States soon! Hope it is a wonderful trip.
Toutes mes fenêtres sont fleuries. Elles sont tristes en hiver quand mes jardinières sont dans la serre. C'est tellement beau une maison aux fenêtres fleuries.
Two gorgeous windows!I like the beautiful reflection in the glass (first shot). Imagine how happy must be people who live in such a lovely house! The energy of the flowers gives lights to our heart!:) Hugs Léia
Re what they catch at Stone Creek: fish! (Heh, heh. I couldn't resist that one! Actually, mostly bass, I believe, which have been introduced to our ponds. Some are nice and big, 1 pound or more.) But it's "catch-and-release." So, people have to fish for fun. No eating.

Love the windows and the music. Sounds like a party.
Also, I enjoy the temple and the sculpture of the last few days.
I love window shots!

Isn't it nice that people put flowers in their windows for others to enjoy? Both are beautiful.
What beautiful window dressings!
et au concours des plus belles fenetres d'ete, je vote pour la no 1
Walking beneath might be a bit risky? Helmet on.
Excellent. I love window boxes. The more color the better---but anything green is good too. I have become quite fond of reds. MB

A pair of very green windows. <i see many of these here, not so nice usually, but they are a bit scary when the wind blow strong...

How cold and uninviting those windows would be without the flowers and plants. Love the first window. Is it a restaurant?
Tu as gouté les crêpes du carré?.. l'endroit a l'air tout mignon..
Those windows are so charming! Just hope they don't fall over :D
Fun to see those Summer windows! We need flower window boxes over here ...
Well, we're home and you welcome us with flowers. Like in France, flower boxed abound in the windows of Ireland. Not so much here.
Gorgeous. Houses here have no character. The windows are covered with sunscreens and the flowers die in the heat. These are so beautiful!
What? Neither of these is yours? Oh well...

Gorgeous summer windows. It;s always a bit sad when summer is over.
@ Bayside life: yes, the first one is a restaurant, a crêperie where of course you eat crêpes!
@ Malyss: ben tu sais, j'essaye généralement d'éviter les crêperies à l'Est de Vitré... :-)
Yes, it's wonderful when windows are decorated with flowers.
Lovely window. I haven't been to France since childhood. It's on the list!
Thanks for your blog visit this week.
The top one is my favourite. Lovely indeed!
