The light across the door is beautiful. Almost spiritual in this beautiful building.

Just plain gorgeous. And I'd sit right there next to that door so I could make a quick exit if necessary - like the sermon went too long or some ladies hat feather tickled my nose and I started sneezing, or I needed to get a cup of coffee...

:-)

You have such fancy doors over there. I'm quite jealous :-)

I think I just commented on how one could spend a lot of time photographing this cathedral! Spectacular door!

Beautiful woodwork in that door and looking up isn't half bad either!

I like the spot of light on the door. Everything in France is just so gorgeous - you guys are good!

PS - I would never go so far as to call myself a star photographer...but you can call me that whenever you like :)

All of these posts about Saint-Louis are puns that no one gets except you and me, but nothing looks like that around here.

Wll, not only is it beautiful and wonderful to look at, but you have a whole new angle for your doorways - from the inside. This could be useful in winter!

I like the tiny touch of light. Almost spiritual.

the solemnness of sunlight streaming through historic windows always makes one feel connected to the past.

belle lumiere divine qui tombe sur la porte de St Louis (mais je ne vois pas l'arche, ah oui on est pas Jeudi)

Love the curve and the window, too!

I laughed from your tourist comment to VP. It's the same here. :)

The door appears to be divinely inspired.

Quite a contrast from the 'Clueless in Boston' door.
