Excellent, Ciel - This looks like it would be nice bridge to cross carrying a basket with a baguette, some good brie or camembert, some salami and a blanket to sit on and have a nice summer picnic just on the other side of the bridge...

Ma dernière fois à Paris, le jour où l´on avait décidé visiter Versailles il s´est mis à pleuvoir, donc, on a décidé de faire une autre chose. C´était bien dommage Bisous Elisa
It looks like it is a footbridge -- not wide enough for carriages or even cars today! Is there water under it or is that a thing of the past? The gardner needs to do some work! Ü

One of our sad memories...we just didn't have time to visit the Petit Trianon...

The estate is so large, one day does not do this wonderful area justice. So much history here to see, I enjoy your bridges!

Amazing bridge, I can't believe it in a park! I would imagine horse-drawn wagons passing over this on their way to a picnic.

Louis has a good idea. What about you and us have a picnic and ride on a bicycle. The bridge looks big enough for a bicycle.
