Sunday Bridge Series: chez Marie-Antoinette

This small wooden bridge in Queen Marie-Antoinette's hamlet is a contribution to Sunday Bridge Series.

Yesterday, my good friend Malyss was sweet enough to give me an award! She has two lovely blogs: Benches on my way and the very poetic Chronicles from the Shore. Merci m'dame !

This has such a rich antiquated look - sort of what the buildings in my town aspire to be!

Here we have "charm" personified in a bridge. And congrat's Ciel!

Il y avait une chanson d'Yves Duteil : "c'est un petit pont de bois".. La vraie Marie-Antoinette était là, pas dans les fastes de la cour..

Very rustic looking. This hamlet just oozes charm and that bridge just beckons one to stroll.

Ah, the haunts of Marie-Antoinette... The lady had an "interesting" part in sparking the Revolution, no? :)
God bless you!
