On se croise
Last Friday evening in Satory neighbourhood. I took the photo a half second too early. ----------------------------------- Vendredi soir à Satory. J'ai pris la photo une demi seconde trop tôt.
Pas forcément, je ne me souviens plus si les trains roulent à droite ou à gauche (un RER de banlieue sans doute roulant à droite ici car il y a trois voies). Le mieux est l'ennemi du bien, dit-on. Tu n'aurais pas eu cette belle face rouge avec les feux et le ciel reflété sur le pare brise car elle ne t'aurait pas attendue ; ni les rails ni le train arrivant juste dans le virage.
Tu connais 'l'ange du bizarre' de Poe traduit pas Baudelaire ? Et bien voilà. Ce petit garçon attendait sur ma photo à mon insu depuis plus de deux ans ! (Bonne fin de dimanche, Cieldequimper, je vais faire mon clafoutis aux abricots avec de la menthe ciselée)
I see nothing wrong with this at all, and a lot that's right with it! If you'd waited another half a second, you'd have a different picture that's all. And I like this! There's a palpable sense of speed and motion.
Love travelling by train, especially when on the upper deck. We have nothing like this here, we have to squeeze onto single deck trains during the rush periods.

I'm not sure what it would look like in another half second, but I like the red on the front/back of the train.
It looks very neat this way. If you had waited would both trains be side by side? MB
Half a second too early? Well, for me it looks pretty nice just as it is, then I guess the timing is also just fine!

It does happen, waiting to fill the frame, and then it's too late... A nice picture anyway, it gives a real sense of motion.

I LOVE train shots. Yes, you have to be quick. I'd be happy here.
Still a great picture
It's a fine shot! Timing is difficult with things moving this fast.
I think all photographers, like all fishermen, can talk about "the one that got away."
I enjoyed taking the train from Paris to Versailles. Europe is so wise to have such excellent train service.
I think I like it just the way it is! The colors are gorgeous!

Not just the trains, but the photographer and timing. Moving images are always difficult. I like this one very much.
Moi j'aime bien! on voit tous les jours des trains mais on ne les photographie jamais, alors que ça fait de super photos!

I like that the train is brightly coloured at the front//back, I'm thinking it's a safety thing.

Two trains in one shot looks great to me.
On the bus near the airport the other day, I saw a train on a bridge (overpass) and hated myself for not having the camera out and ready in time.
I like the colours in the photo.
It might have been taken a second too early but it's still pretty cool, Ciel!
