Jacob, I don't think they have alligators in France. That makes this so much more appealing! I can imagine sitting here listening to *nothing* :-)

My eyesight just got a little better just from seeing all this green! I like how even the water is green :-)
Not far from here there's a similar pond, where a heron used to live. We haven't seen him for a while now, possibly he went to the South of France or Italy for holidays...
