I think General Hoche is quite lucky, this is a very nice green square. Even in Paris avenue Hoche is one of the greenest.
@ Jacob: it would be a wonderful place to sit and read a book if it wasn't... for the pigeons. Warning: your head is at risk when sitting under these chestnut trees.

It can be tough to keep up with Daily Photo blogs while away. My wife and I went to Italy for two weeks and are just returning to making the rounds of our favorite blogs.
My brother and his family will be leaving on his first trip to Europe soon, and they will be concentrating on France, with Versailles on their itinerary, of course.
Love green spaces surrounded by beautiful architect. This place has it all.
