VDP wishes all who celebrate it a wonderful Easter! Last weekend, these lovely Romanian painted eggs were on display and for sale at Sans Souci tea shop and deli in Montreuil neighbourhood. VDP had previously shown you the tea shop here.
Great artwork on the eggs Ciel, I have to say though the 'bunny' is fab with that expression:)
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, the eggs are really beautiful. I really admire the patience and skill required to create one of these beauties.
ReplyDeleteWe had our first daffodil bloom today, Spring will come sometime soon.
Let me try this again ... Happy Easter! I admire the skill required to create one of these beautiful eggs. We had our first daffodil bloom today, Spring must be on the way.
ReplyDeleteThose handpainted and colorful eggs are wonderful. Love 'em.
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers in that last photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet looking shop! The eggs remind me of a small collection of Kraslice eggs that I have (they are Czech) - mine are very detailed but not as colorful as those you show. Your photos are bursting with color and detail! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI used to spend time dying eggs and decorating, but now I display ceramic ones that I use every year. Feels like there's something missing tho. I much prefer the colorful eggs you have here.
ReplyDeleteVery 'Eastery'!
ReplyDeleteWhat color and fun such decorations add to an already special day. Happy Easter, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteSans Souci looks wonderful Ciel, the eggs are fabulous, so different to the painted boiled eggs the kids rolled down the hill here today :) Hope you are having a super day, mine was exhausting :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE black jelly beans today!

ReplyDeleteThey are beautifully colourful!
ReplyDeleteWell, I just learned something new. I knew about Ukrainian Easter eggs but didn't know Romanians had their own style of Easter eggs too.
ReplyDeleteWunderschön gefärbte Eier!
ReplyDeleteIch hoffe, Du hast nette Ostertage verbracht.
