VDP hors les murs : le lit aux motifs persans

XVIIIth century Toile de Jouy bed
Now that's a lovely little bed says VDP. It has a 'Persian' (i.e. Oriental) motif! VDP loved the details!

    I dunno...canopy beds always give me the heebie-jeebies. It looks like a giant spider which is going to spawn lots of little spiders while I'm sleeping.

    You caught the fabric detail very nicely. It looks like a small but elaborate sleeping arrangement. I think I prefer my own snug bed.
