Well, thanks a lot! I've got to have blood drawn (routine) this morning and can't eat for another couple of hours! And now I'm suddenly very hungry! Sheesh!
But...we'll be heading to Bagelicious afterward and have bacon, eggs and bagels. So life is good! :)
Re. price: to be honest, VDP didn't look very carefully but then again, 15€ (give or take a few cents) wouldn't be terribly expensive if you were buying that many eggs... Supermarket prices for 6 free range eggs would be somewhere between 2,30 and 3,50 euros...

Is that €14.5 for those eggs? They do look good though.

ReplyDeleteSounds delicious, and all the fresh eggs and mushrooms look delicious too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful brown eggs, happy hens. But I've never seen a market table of freely-strewn mushrooms where you can pick your own. Fun!
ReplyDeleteI'd be nervous around so many eggs, especially so at those prices!
ReplyDeleteme, me, me!!
