Once you have bought your mushrooms (in the bag) and have taken the mid-March municipal election campaign leaflets, you walk past pretty flowers seemingly without noticing them...
Une fois que vous avez acheté vos champignons (dans le sac) et avez pris quelques feuillets pour la campagne des municipales, vous passez à côté de jolies fleurs sans même, semble-t-il, les voir...
That's the trouble with mushrooms and election brochures...especially when combined - they make you forget to stop and smell the roses. :) Pretty flowers for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes!! Lowell does know how to say it!! And I do SO agree!! What a fun way to wind down my day!! Have a great new week, Ciel!!
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers! They don't last too long here in the winter with the central heat on.
ReplyDeleteI wish our elections combined mushrooms and beautiful flowers! Lucky lucky:)
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful color.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so much less mundane than than mushrooms and election leaflets. I'd be more interested in that. And they are reasonably priced.
ReplyDeleteHow could you not notice them?!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are lovely. The election leaflets? Not so much....
ReplyDeleteheureusement les prospectus peuvent toujours a servir pour mettre les épluchures des pommes de terres, car a environ 4 prospectus par journée de marcheé...
ReplyDeleteFortunately I can avoid the leaflets by explaining that I can't (yet) vote. However, that doesn't stop them from arriving in the mailbox ! Anyway, it's a wonderful time for flowers both on the street and off.
ReplyDeleteSomeone likes mushrooms ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a horrible shame to not notice the flowers! How could you not want to take a good look? They are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteoh i just love all these bright colors!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine not noticing those beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the mushrooms and flowers were commiserating over the election.
ReplyDeleteOur local election will be next May...
ReplyDeleteHow can one not notice them?
ReplyDeleteI love fresh flowers - although I do find 4 euros a little expensive for that particular bouquet. Maybe I'm just too used to Aldi Blumen! :)
ReplyDeleteNo way! but surely even if you might not notice the actual flowers how could you not notice the perfume.. I see Hyacinths and jonquils there, they would smell amazing oui! We are having senate elections soon here too, such fun.. not :)
