This is the golden evening light on the palace façade looking into the hall of mirrors (can you see the chandeliers?) and a third shot looking towards the palace chapel.
La lumière dorée du soir se fait chatoyante sur la façade du château, les lustres de la galerie des glaces (vous les voyez ?) et une vue vers la chapelle royale
Everything so golden and glowing - what a beautiful moment you captured! Hope you're settling in nicely:)
ReplyDeleteGolden light...beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI too love that golden light! Terrific captures, Ciel!! Thanks for sharing the beauty -- as always!! Hope you have a great week!

Unique architecture, the golden light is splendid in your pictures and I love the chandelier!
ReplyDeleteLéia
beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best times of day to photograph. I've read that "real" photographers get up before dawn, sleep during the day, get back out to take pictures as the sun starts down.
ReplyDeleteSounds like too much commitment to me. But sometimes one is in the right place at the right time. I remember walking into the Hall of Mirrors. I was stunned - had seen nothing like it.
I do hope you have some other photos of your trip to show us...please?
Me again wishing you a great day and answering your question on Colorado: Yup, that's a brilliant blue Colorado sky reflected! BTW, that restaurant had a French ambiance...
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, nothing like returning to some beautiful facade's!
ReplyDeleteTres joli Ciel. How are you settling back after your amazing holiday ?
ReplyDeleteEverything is better in that light and in this case it was already gorgeous...
ReplyDeleteWhat incredibly beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteThe light in this photo sure is pretty!
