Guignol

I had shown you Sainte Agnès school before. There have been new additions to the murals, the two electrical (or other) enclosures now boast Guignol (a kind of French version of Punch and Judy) murals that I think are so cute! They enable me to link to Monday Mural!

Je vous ai déjà montré l'école Sainte-Agnès. Il y a eu des ajouts de fresques sur les deux armoires avec des dessins de Guignol que je trouve super mignons. Cela me permet de participer aux fresques du lundi !

    They're adorable! And although the term Grand Guignol is used a bit, I did not realize Guignol referred to a specific Punch and Judy-ish situation. Love learning new things!:)

    It's not that often that I think of "charming" when I look at murals, but these indeed are charming. The style of the one on the right reminds me of early French advertising posters that are all the rage here. Both are quite sympathetic to the the original wall mural. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
