I should move to Holland, I so love tulips. Sorry I haven't visited, Friday, I was making a poor attempt at photographing nature and today I visited my mum.
I just learned last weekend at an exhibition of Dutch painting in San Francisco (which included Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring) that tulips are not native to Holland, but were imported there from Turkey and, evidently from your photo, to France as well.
Thank you for visiting and leaving a thought! Sorry about the moderation, a bit tired of spam at the moment!
