Oooh, I loved this red in Chantiers neighbourhood! I wouldn't want to have to go back to my student days and the waiting at the launderette! A question: am I the only one that had a mandatory field asking for my birthdate in order to access my Blogger dashboard?
J'adore, mais malgré tout, je suis contente que la lessive au lavomatic de mes jours d'étudiante soit du passé ! Petite question : je suis la seule à avoir eu à fournir ma date de naissance pour accéder à mon compte Blogger ?
Your birthdate?? That sounds fishy to me. Be careful.
ReplyDeleteBlogger did return the Lightbox way of viewing our photos, by default; but you can opt out of it. But I don't think they are into birthdays.
More than even the red, I like your shadows here.
J'adore le rouge - this would make waiting at the laundromat a lot more pleasant!
ReplyDeleteI haven't ever been asked by blogger for my birth date Ciel!
Super photo! I agree with Dina, you have some fabulous shadows here.
ReplyDeleteDear old Blogger tried to tell me, yesterday, that my blog no longer existed. Then, when it finally let me see my dashboard page, it said I was not the author of a blog yet. A few hours later, all was back to normal.

We don't have pretty laundromats like that. Great shadows and light.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had anything wonky happen to me yet.
The rouge is really red, really rad, and I really like it.
ReplyDeleteWhat's that about Blogger? No way. Something's fishy! Blogger would not do that? Maybe you got hacked...
You may wish to change your passwords and do a virus scan.
Or, and let's hope this is it: Blogger just went temporarily nuts as is its wont!
ReplyDeleteThat's seriously RED! It is certainly more vibrant than the sterile, sanitary white.
ReplyDeleteFWIW, I still have a blogger account and it didn't ask me for my birthday when I logged in.
the red is wonderful! Really eye-catching.
ReplyDeleteI have not had the same problem with blogger log-on.
Julie and I have a bright red washer and dryer in our laundry room at our Scottsdale house. The deep, bright red goes well with the purple walls in our laundry room.
ReplyDeleteAnd right above the washer and dryer is a framed picture composed of six tiles that we bought in Portugal. (And elsewhere in the laundry room we have ceramics from Spain, Italy, Hungary, Greece, Morocco, Turkey, and Raku pottery.)
It sure beats the laundromat in college.
Love the red and the reflections!
ReplyDeleteA few weeks ago while working in Blogger I lost everything. I had to confirm who I was through an e-mail and then everything returned to normal. Not sure why it happened.
Bonjour,
ReplyDeleteJ'ai rate ton retour, tu sembles avoir fait une superbe ballade.
Tres belle photo avec les contrastes de lumiere et couleurs.
That certainly is an eye catching laundromat Ciel, wonder if the people who use it are as colourful.
ReplyDeleteNot been asked my age Ciel (thank goodness haha!) but like Randy I lost mine for a short time and had to confirm by email who I was. Freaks you out when everything disappears I can tell you!!
Red light matching your writing!
ReplyDeleteNon aucun probleme avec blogger de la sorte... mais sait-on jamais. Mieux vaut s'eloigner et revenir quelques heures plus tard.
Still love the comforting smell of the launderette. Ah...
ReplyDeleteNo birthday request here. I just bought a new washer...
ReplyDeleteMoi aussi, contente que mes annes de laverie soient loin derrière! et , oui, tu es la seule à avoir du donner ta date de naissance; ça devient n'importe quoi!!
ReplyDeleteI love these washing machines, or rather their colour.
ReplyDeleteNo birthday date request so far, be careful!
Have a lovely weekend:)
I am also glad my laundromat days are over. Blogger hasn't asked for my bday.
ReplyDeleteSomethings up with Blogger lately (or I should say again), but nobody and nothing should ask a lady for her birthdate!
ReplyDeleteLove the red laundry machines, leave it to the French to even do their laundry in style! :)
A request for a birth date does sound a little suspicious. I haven't been asked for mine. Good to see you back, Cildemer. I do love those red washers, but even with them, I'd rather not go back to having to go to laundromats. Hope your weekend is going well!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
No way would I answer an email asking for my birthday. They do NOT need that information but someone trying to steal your identity might.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't an e-mail, it was in the sign in process to access the dashboard.
ReplyDeleteRouge it is! Cool.
ReplyDeleteI also would not want to go back to the days of using a "washeteria" (that's what one co-worker of mine in Jackson used to call it). But at least this one has some style!
