We have had very dry and warm weather so far this Oct. I have been waiting for a little moisture to do my fall gardening. I love to visit garden centers. But no autumn pinks yet. Your photo encourages me to visit the garden center.
Those red things are stunning. Stone Creek changes out all the flowers/plants seasonally...so we get a constant renewal of color and it's very, very nice. So, yes, we've got our autumn colors, but I don't think they are pink. :-)
There is a different take on the changing seasons in the desert Southwest. At our Scottsdale, Arizona house we just put in our winter lawn. Last week the birds were loving eating the seeds. Today, the rabbits were feasting on the new grass.
Gorgeous! Here it's been 30ºC every single day in October. Hibiscus, Bougainvillaeas, Oleanders and many others are still blooming. However, some trees are already loosing their leaves and vines are slowly turning red. On a less poetic perspective, draught is getting pretty serious in the NE of the country.
