Hôtel du département
I really liked the shadows of the trees dancing on the Yvelines Department administrative building last weekend! (Versailles is "county" town of the Yvelines).
Me again re your question about no photography: This shop is doing what vendors at some arts and crafts fairs do - forbid photography. They have had experiences which indicate that people photograph their work (ideas/creativity) and reproduce it as their own...
J'aime bien aussi ces ombres particulierement sur la 1ere photo. Merci pour ta reponse. Je n'ai jamais beaucoup etudie les possibilites de blogger. Bon weekend !!
Like Jack, I love dappled light. For an art competition recently, I tried to paint a street scene from Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, that I had photographed dappled light on the street.
I love these shadows too Ciel, not sure why, but the best shadow shots seem to be in Autumn, actually I do know why, it's because the trees are becoming bare and more interesting.
Thank you for visiting and leaving a thought! Sorry about the moderation, a bit tired of spam at the moment!
Merci de votre visite très appréciée et de laisser une pensée ! Désolée de devoir modérer vos commentaires, VDP en a un peu marre des spammeurs en ce moment !

ReplyDeleteSad, but true...
Thanks for explaining the relationship between Versailles and Yvelines.
ReplyDeleteThose kinds of shadows always make me rather dizzy...but it's a very cool shot!

Bon weekend !!
This is a super creative shot.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is about it, but I love shadows like this. They bring to mind the wonderful word, "dappled." Dappled dappled dappled.
ReplyDeleteNice one, Ciel.
The shadows are beautiful! That's the first thing I noticed. :)
ReplyDeleteYou captured these perfectly. Happy Weekend!

ReplyDeleteThe trees have lost all their leaves already?!
ReplyDeleteIls ont pas peur de se faire de la pub !
ReplyDeleteSharp shadows of a low sun, typical of this season. You really got the best of them.
ReplyDeleteThe shadows paint some great lines! The counseil certainly uses BIG posters!
ReplyDeleteThe shadows are so wild! The posters on the walls are quite interesting, too.
ReplyDeleteSur la première photo il y a encore assez de feuilles pour que les ombres cachent les murs. Bientôt, les arbres seront nus, et les murs decouverts..
ReplyDeletePas mal d'ombres sur la qualite de vie! lol
ReplyDeleteThe trees cast indeed a nice shadow contrasting with the walls. Looks like a nice place!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
On se croirait beaucoup plus au sud!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely...
ReplyDeleteI love to watch dancing shadows too. :)
