It doesn't look Protestant at all to my eye. The Calvinists would be horrified. It illustrates the power of traditional French Catholic culture, I suppose.
It looks more conventional in these views. I still would not place it on my list of world's most beautiful cathedrals and churches. How is your tendinitis?
