Tucson, Arizona rencontre Versailles, Yvelines

Last Saturday I had the immense pleasure of meeting T. Becque of Tucson, Arizona who is visiting France with her lovely son and her equally lovely mother-in-law. We had crêpes and cider for lunch and took a loooooong photographic walk through the city and palace gardens. Check out Thoughts in Images here and gorgeous art here. I had a wonderful time!

  1. T. Becque has spoken of her trip to France for a long time. She's a fine photographer and it is so nice you were able to get together and take a photographic walk! I'm just a wee bit jealous!

Both of these photos are very creative, Ciel - artsy-fartsy! Kudos to you!

Well that really sounds like a great day and I think it's very kind of you to show her and her family around Versailles.

  11. I look forward to a similar day in late summer, but why is it our CDP colleagues never come here? I suppose Missouri is less of a magnetic tourist destination than France.

  17. Isn't it extraordinary to meet friends from the CDP community? Generosity of spirit seems to be one of the qualities so many bloggers have in common. Thank you for your hospitality, Ciel. I'm certain T. Becque and her family were as moved by that as by the beauty around them.

  25. It always makes me smile when I read about blogging friends meeting in person. It makes it hard to become cynical about human nature. Glad you had a fun photo walk together.
