Last Saturday I had the immense pleasure of meeting T. Becque of Tucson, Arizona who is visiting France with her lovely son and her equally lovely mother-in-law. We had crêpes and cider for lunch and took a loooooong photographic walk through the city and palace gardens. Check out Thoughts in Images here and gorgeous art here. I had a wonderful time!
T. Becque has spoken of her trip to France for a long time. She's a fine photographer and it is so nice you were able to get together and take a photographic walk! I'm just a wee bit jealous!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these photos are very creative, Ciel - artsy-fartsy! Kudos to you!
Yes she is a fine photographer, she has a good eye for an image; so nice that she is there to enjoy your fabulous town.
ReplyDeleteCiel!
ReplyDeleteNow it's time for you to come to Tucson, AZ!
Come and stay with me!
You must have all had a wonderful day, your visitors were lucky to have such a great guide and friend. Gorgeous images.
ReplyDeleteHow delightful for you to meet another talented photographer for a tour of Versailles!

Yes, T. Becque has a wonderful eye. I am glad you enjoyed her visit. Nice photos today, too.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. Great shots too.
ReplyDeleteWell that really sounds like a great day and I think it's very kind of you to show her and her family around Versailles.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to a similar day in late summer, but why is it our CDP colleagues never come here? I suppose Missouri is less of a magnetic tourist destination than France.
ReplyDeleteI'm envious here, I also want to go to Versailles and take a coffee with you my dear friend! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you need to visit us here in Luxembourg as well some day!
But please, don't ask me to chat in French because I don't want to disappoint you.I have an awful accent! LOL
It's so nice to meet good friends!
Hugs
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, I am sure this was an amzing walk!
ReplyDeleteWonderful. Loved the post.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it extraordinary to meet friends from the CDP community? Generosity of spirit seems to be one of the qualities so many bloggers have in common. Thank you for your hospitality, Ciel. I'm certain T. Becque and her family were as moved by that as by the beauty around them.
ReplyDeleteIt's your turn now to come and visit Arizona even if we don't have a Versailles...
ReplyDeleteWe have pancakes and flavored teas (beers too) and a lot of photographic spots...
How very neat to meet some one in your town. I really enjoyed meeting you and your Mum here in Stanwood. I am sure you all had a marvelous time. MB
ReplyDeleteHow nice to meet a fellow blogger. I'm sure you made their visit a memorable one.
ReplyDeleteOh I'll bet it was a long walk! Looks like you had great weather to enjoy the photo walk, too! :D
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun day. That's nice you were able to connect in person, cameras in hand.
ReplyDeleteThe world is indeed a small place! What a wonderful opportunity for everyone.
ReplyDeleteIt always makes me smile when I read about blogging friends meeting in person. It makes it hard to become cynical about human nature. Glad you had a fun photo walk together.
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I love T.'s blog.
