Ma cabane...

Log cabins? Yes but with columns if you please. In the palace grounds.

Des cabanes mais attention, avec des colonnes, dans le parc du château.

  2. Very interesting. I don't recall seeing these but we didn't get everywhere, either. Both are certainly necessary!

Re your comment on Ocala: I've been to that barbershop 2 X. I won't go back. They really aren't as good as they think they are!

  4. I thought for a moment we were having a look inside the men's bathroom (which seemed astonishingly capacious). What an intriguing capture, Ciel.

Bizarre! A column made of a tree trunk with a scroll capital. I'm thinking some Greek architect is kinda freaking out? I like the contradiction.

  6. Interessant cette architecture faite en rodins de bois.

  7. This is pretty unexpected, Ciel. Most things are very elegant at Versailles. I wonder who got the idea to install rustic log cabins.

  8. I must say I never expected log cabins in Versailles. How fun to see them.

  9. Amazing! I love the Greek style columns made of unpeeled logs. The Mediterranean meets the wild wild west!

  10. It looked like it had a thatched roof on the portal. Seems to have everything you need.

  22. Cabines versaillaises et "royales" comme le dit Bergson! Le concept "toilettes" n'était malheureusement pas connu à l'époque...

  27. Is this Versailles? I don't have to like it, do I? Kay summed it up best: classical meets wild west. But it doesn't work for me. There's mix 'n match and there's mix 'n mismatch. :-D
