An exhibition in the making: I saw this in front of the palace coming home around 21:00 yesterday evening... All I can say for now is that looks rusty and that it will be one of the exhibits of the upcoming Bernar Venet exhibition.
Vu hier soir place d'armes... C'est le montage d'une des oeuvres de Bernar Venet pour la prochaine exposition dans le parc du château et à Marly.
Well, that could be interesting, couldn't it? Super photos!

I really don't yet understand what I am seeing, Ceil. When you show the finished exhibit, maybe it will make sense.
ReplyDeleteAs to Florida, no, I will not be golfing with our friend. He is five hours north of me and I am just here for three days.
I think you're going to have to go to the exhibition and take more photos so we can learn what this is...looks to me like one of our cement troughs... :-)
ReplyDeleteOne of your best pictures. We love Venet (e. g. http://saintlouismodailyphoto.blogspot.com/2009/07/citygarden-steel-and-water.html). Will the exhibit be there through the end of the summer?
ReplyDeleteThis exhibit has potential. It will be fun to see its progress until completion. The silhouette makes it look fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI looked at the website and looks interesting. I look forward to seeing more of this exhibition.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed the Jeux de Perles in yesterdays photo. I can see why it is one of your favorites, sad to see it closing.
I can't wait to see it when it's done. Nice beginning.
ReplyDeleteInteresting for sure.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been in Seattle for wuite awhile----but staying 2 nights in a awful. It is so noisy and just the hum of it all made my eyrs hurt. I have bout in the country too long. MB
ReplyDeletebon week-end
bisous

It looks like the ribcage of some prehistoric monster. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you'll show the final thing. I'm very curious now! :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the ribs of a wrecked ship. I love the top photo, very atmospheric.
