We had 2 rose bushes in our yard where I grew up. No one paid any attention to them or tended to them, yet they always produced the largest, most amazing smelling roses I've ever experienced.
I think your title is The Season of Roses but can't say for sure since I don't read French. I took one year of Spanish in High school about 60 years ago and all the languages are similar - French, Spanish, Latin.
Very lovely roses. My brother-in-law just got back from a trip to Versailles and Paris. One of his photos had the Bernar Venet sculpture and I said I saw it before he did! ha!

ReplyDeleteHaley is doing very well. She's pretty much back to her "old" self...so we're very grateful! Thank you for caring!
Oh, what beautiful roses, the nice old-fashioned kind. I love them.

The roses are exquisite in that soft pink and so gracefully adorning the wall and the wrought iron fence.
