Le Triathlon du Roi

Yesterday, people were running around and swimming in the Swiss Lake: it was the Triathlon du Roi or King's Triathlon event. I merely watched... For a more general view of the lake, click here. For all posts, including history, click on the label below!

  1. Tri-athletes are amazing, aren't they? It's always nice to see there's help on hand for them, though.
I love the shady path by the lake. It would also be nice for strolling quietly!

  2. I am tired just looking at the pictures. I think I will sit here a bit longer, if you don't mind.

I'll admire their hard work and urge them on. Looks like a beautiful spot for a triathlon.

  7. Ah d'accord !

  12. What a lovely spot for a race of any kind! Lois always wanted to do a triathlon, but for various reasons never did so. She did run two marathons and many half-marathons and numerous other races. Now, she just runs for fun. Can't imagine how people can complete a triathlon!

And yes, the sky was as bad as it looks, but except for a little rain, it passed over us. :-)

  13. Great scenery to endure a triathlon. All those vibrant green trees are beautiful. Plus, I'm sure, the runners appreciated the shade.
