This is a house in Montreuil neighbourhood that I thought looked very nice. Almost as if one was in Normandy where this architectural style is common.

On dirait un peu une maison normande, vous ne trouvez pas ?
A house that comes close to poetry. Beautiful.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good Thursday.
daily athens
My bags are packed and I'm ready to move in! :)
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be delightful to take a tour inside?
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful but somewhat mysterious...perhaps it would look less so in the summertime. I like the way you have the sun sort of exploding behind it.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, can't you imagine all kinds of secret, strange, weird things going on in there? Perhaps it's a safe house for spies?
Makes sense to me. Which doesn't mean a whole lot, I know! :-)
I think the diagonal lines are extraordinary!!
ReplyDeleteThat really is lovely. I can only imagine looking out that window at the top.
ReplyDeleteVery creative photo, well composed. The backlighting is perfect and the bare trees form a filter to our view... lovely!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
It is a very unusual house, isn't it? It seems to borrow features from many different styles, but it doesn't belong to a single style.
ReplyDeleteHere, this would be a museum, a place people visit but no longer live in. I'm so glad it's still in use, and people are enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteI love that kind of detail!
ReplyDeletemoi je l'imagine bien dans un film de type de suspense....tient dans psychose ;))))
ReplyDeleteI really like this house and it's style. Unusual, yet not.
ReplyDeletePS: on my blog in the picture of Mt. Tainier the white building in the distance on the right is the hotel at Tulalip. MB
Oops I mean Mt. Rainier. Duh!!! MB
ReplyDeletemais la banlieue c'est le début de la normandie en tout cas les bouchon y commencent
ReplyDeleteOu a celle de Norman Bates dans Psychose! Tu as verifié la cave?!..
ReplyDeleteA somewhat exotic mansion, considered the place. I am sure I would love a place where this style is commen...
ReplyDeleteQuite Tudoresque (not a word, I know)... but that top floor window panel looks quite unique.
ReplyDelete[I don't even know how to turn on a TV. Makes me a mass culture-moron. :-D ]
Beautiful maison, I imagine it's very expensive!
ReplyDeleteLéia
Very romantic details on this house:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Oh I love it. It is so pretty and romantic.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of this home! I am imagining it surrounded by lovely landscaping.
ReplyDeleteDoes look like a home I would expect to find in Normandy.
ReplyDeletePretty! I hope it's landscaped well too. I bet it's right out of a storybook in the winter covered in snow.
ReplyDeleteI missed your petite maison normande yesterday. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely. Wouldn't it be great fun to live in a place like that?
What a great roofline and I like the detail along the upper window.
