At the start of the month, I showed you the beginning of my love story with the daffs on Avenue de Paris. This was the scene last Sunday! See 2010 here or here and 2009 here. There's a street reflected on Artsy Versailles today.
--------------------------------
What a wonderful perspective, Ciel. You invite us to smell those daffs from this angle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Ciel. I love the light in the top shot.
ReplyDeleteDaffodils are such a welcoem to Spring site! I ahve captured some also and now that I ahve finished my snow photos for this time, I will be showing a few of those also!
ReplyDeleteDid you play a bit with that top photo? The light is soooo spectacular! Both are super shots.
ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't hurt yourself getting into position to take the second photo!
You're very funny, too. I tried your French version of the sea shoes thing and tripped over my own tongue and fell down laughing!
Wow what a happy scene. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeletehow beautiful stars ! thank you for making bright me night. please have a good friday.

Super cadre! Quelle fraicheur!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pleasant there and here we are, back into winter. The cherry trees in our botanical garden started to bloom a couple of days ago when the temperature was in the mid-20s. I plan to shoot them on Saturday, when there is a chance of snow.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are absolutely lovely, as are the flowers. Spring has come!
ReplyDeleteHere they are, Ciel! The bulbs I have been waiting for. I see that you have offered one scene and one close-up. That straddles the two major schools, doesn't it? (The pics are very pretty, especially the top scene.)
ReplyDeleteIn the first photo, the greens and yellows make the orange-brown trees all the more beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou framed that top picture perfectly. I love the curve of the walkway and the treeline. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Ceil, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteAh, là , ça sent VRAIMENT le printemps!
ReplyDeleteC'est donc là que se trouvaient les jonquilles que j'ai cherchées en vain, à Versailles la semaine dernière!
ReplyDeleteBelle perspective!
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteChez moi, elle commence déj à faner. Elles ont fat la place aux jacinthes.
ReplyDeleteet aux tulipes !
ReplyDeleteThese warm me up, which is good, because it's 20F (-7C) outside at the moment and I need some warmth. Spring my a$$!! The perspective in the second shot is great. I was kneeling in a layer of hail to capture something similar yesterday morning.
ReplyDelete@ Jacob: nope. Almost SOOC, I merely added a tiny bit of contrast.
ReplyDeleteYou and Eric have mastered this angle. Lovely! The Montreuil house should have a movie made there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures! In the top shot, it looks like everyone is out enjoying the nice weather and the lovely daffodils. Btw, after checking out 2010 and 2009, these are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are gorgeous,so lovely composition. We have some friends from Brazil that have been visiting there during this weekend. How lucky they are!
ReplyDeletebisous et bon week-end!
Léia
