Before we go inside: the main public library's entrance on the Avenue of the American Independence is strikingly beautiful (see it here). The inner courtyard isn't half bad either... --------------

ReplyDeleteIt is impressive that the designers added so much embellishment to an interior courtyard. For many buildings, that would be considered a fancy main entrance.

ReplyDeleteHow interesting..I missed seeing this yesterday so today I saw the interior before scrolling to the exterior. Proves that you cannot judge a library by its exterior, doesn't it? Just very intimidating in its beauty and charm.
