After just under a week's respite, here we are back at the public library. This is the staircase of the book lending department. Oh... and there's a new blog! My artsy mostly black and white Versailles! This way! (Note to VP: not for you!)
-------------------------------------------
Après quelques jours de trêve, nous voici de retour à la bibliothèque municipale principale avec l'escalier qui mène au prêt des livres. Ah... et il y a un nouveau blog ! Mon Versailles un peu artistico-noir et blanc. Par ici !

I love the wrought iron and lines of the staircase
ReplyDeleteI love this! Great Swedish colors, too! So well composed!
ReplyDeleteGreat colors for the escalier, as well as the railing!
ReplyDeleteThe blue and yellow make this staircase wonderful, but I'm sure I'll enjoy your black and white Versailles photos, too.

The more I see the more I like waht a beautiful Library!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Is it really yellow, or is that a result of the lighting?
ReplyDeleteFabulous in color and repetition!
ReplyDeleteAll you need is a woman in a Red dress to walk down the stairs!
ReplyDeleteIs this up the down staircase? Love the gold and blue. MB
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! A stark contrast to the plain, functional library in Bellingham...

A very stylish staircase especially for a public library.
ReplyDeleteJust like Jacob and Lois Anne, my first thought...
ReplyDelete"Looks very Swedish" In Norway we always say that with blue and yellow..... Anyway, it looks stylish and I like the way you have composed the shot.
Wonderful composition. Love it.
ReplyDeletedescend pas trop vite, cela peut te donner le tournis ;))
ReplyDeleteFabulous shapes and patterns in this staircase shot! And now I'll skip on over to your new blog, where I am sure NOT to find VP! :-D
ReplyDeleteSorry, definitely not!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo! I love the wrought iron, the colours and the composition!
ReplyDeleteThat makes for a great composition of colour, line and shape.
ReplyDeleteLovely colours on that staircase! You came to visit and could not find my post. I have moved so it can know be seen! So sorry!
ReplyDeleteRetour au bleu versaillais et aux courbes royales. J'aime bien l'angle choisi, il donne envie de glisser à cheval sur la rampe comme quand on etait petit!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo. Both the composition and the color.
ReplyDeleteVery modern, I like the contrast blue and yellow and the angle of this shot is WONDERFUL!
ReplyDeleteLéia
Lovely colour and perspective.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color and angle, Ciel. You know how much I love a staircase!

Artistic staircase area!
ReplyDeleteI will check out your new blog. . .
Has it been that long? Damn, even the staircases are extraordinary! I'll be jumping over the the new digs momentarily. Between the small greenhouse I'm building for my wife and the nice weather today, I'm **way** behind on my blog visits (but I did get out for some photos)
ReplyDeleteRhumatisants, s'abstenir.
ReplyDeleteDid you actually walk up these stairs to take this photo? Wow! I am impressed! Exquisite!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and composition. What a staircase! Off to check out your new blog!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful shot of a gorgeous stairway. I'm sorry to have neglected my blog reading lately. I have missed some lovely posts.

Artistique ta photo, plus le rendu des couleurs, escalier est très beau.
ReplyDeleteLovely :) WIsh our library was like this....!
ReplyDeleteWhat?!? Another marvelous blog to follow?!? Oh how shall I EVER get anything done?!? Sigh...
ReplyDeleteI really like the blue in the stairway. I like it so much more than the red Americans like to use, and it looks more regal, in my opinion.
