For James' Weekend Reflections, here's the equestrian statue of Louis the 14th reflected in a car last week. All about the statue and the king this way. VDP and quite a few other blogs aren't being updated on the CDP portal. Anyone know what to do about it other than posting in the technical problems forum which I already did?

Hi Ciel - sorry about the photo not showing up...it did on some blogs and not on others. I don't get it. Something is screwy!
ReplyDeleteThis is, as per usual, a wonderful reflection shot. You ought to give lessons.
Thanks for your kindness and expressions of concern. I told Denise folks all over the world were thinking of her and some were praying for her and she burst into tears. So, it means a lot!
Merci beaucoup!!!!!
Hey is that Cezar and Léia in the reflection, kinda looks like them!
ReplyDeleteCiel, this is a wonderful and artful photograph. Hope your weekend is a good one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a scene you captured in that window! The sublime and the mundane in one. I've had that problem on CDP before (haven't checked, maybe I do again!), I've just let them know, as you did and it resolved with a couple of days. I know, that doesn't help.
ReplyDeleteYou capture great reflections, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteThe couple in the bottom left add that touch of movement.
ReplyDeleteWe reflection photo seekers must thank car owners who keep their windows shiny.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.
Love the deep blue shade in the window! It must of been a really sunny day for the reflection to be so clear :-D
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
And you forget to say those girls are enjoying the sunny day , walking and chatting happily, so beautiful composition and captured with perfection, very well done!
ReplyDeleteLéia
I 'know' the guy on the statue and I like the quite natural reflection. I still have no idea about the freezing of the portal...
ReplyDeleteTerrific reflections! The problem you mentioned must only be with the CDP portal, because your photos are updated on my dashboard daily.
ReplyDeleteVery clever shot! I like it. xxx
ReplyDeleteil faut poster en appuyant doucement sur entrée.
ReplyDeleteExcellent reflection---the old with the new.
ReplyDeleteI seldom check the portal so now I will and see what is going on. MB
Hee! You also have a dude on a horse today. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice reflection. You always come up with something creative.
Have to agree with Halcyon, you always come up with creative reflections an I always love them! This one is not exception!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
Louis XIV et les voitures! :-) Love it.
ReplyDeleteI like the movement of the people under the statue you captured in this reflection.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteWell done :)
Best regards

Ooh! this one is great! it looks like a lovely day there too.
ReplyDeleteJe trouve ce reflet de la statue équestre de Louis XIV de toute beauté, vraiment... Et si original, par rapport aux vues traditionnelles... Bravo !
ReplyDeleteLovely reflection!

Love the "horse in the car" reflection. (Your photo on the 4th is just fabulous also!)
ReplyDeleteFabulous reflections like this one in windows of a car are mind boggling. You have to be at the right spot at the right time to be able to capture something like this. Great shot.
