Les cartons de bananes

At the big market, these French Carribbean banana boxes have been recycled by stallholders and now serve to carry kitchen utensils to and from the stalls.

Eh oui, la banane des Antilles est devenue ustensile de cuisine, son carton se recycle pour certains vendeurs...

  1. Much more colorful than the brown banana boxes I'm used to seeing. Immediately post-college, I found the banana box to be particularly beneficial for packing and carrying.

  2. That would drive me bananas! How do you know which utensils are in which box? ;-)

    Actually, it is a great idea. One thing we like about Stone Creek is that we have a good recycling program!

  10. I just spent a week at a tennis tournament where everyone from players to umpires want a banana! Ours were chiquita bananas...but I like your boxes better :D
