This little bridge is to be found at the hamlet that queen Marie-Antoinette had built for her enjoyment in the palace grounds. A contribution to Louis la Vache's Sunday Bridge Series. The reason why I took this photo so low was that naturally, the bridge was full of visitors. You can see some of their reflections in the water.-------------------------------
Ce petit pont se trouve au Hameau de la Reine Marie-Antoinette, ceci pour les ponts du dimanche. La raison pour laquelle j'ai pris la photo si bas est que le pont était plein de visiteurs, dont vous pouvez voir les reflets dans l'eau.

ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! As well as the words "hamlet" and "little bridge". I'm guessing Marie was not so adorable though? :-) I like the arch. It opens like a MOUTH ready to eat a big piece of CAKE. :-)
