This flower heart is part of the current 'baroque exuberance' exhibition of ephemeral plant art at the Petit Trianon castle in the palace grounds. This 'baroque heart' is a work of Alexis Tricoire. In the background is the 'French pavilion', built by Ange-Jacques Gabriel for king Louis the 15th.

That is so cool! And I like the way you have framed the windows with the heart in the second photo.
ReplyDeleteEG Wow is right, the second shot with the heart framing the house is really cool. That is a massive heart!
ReplyDeleteI like how you framed the house with the heart.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. It almost looks like the heart is growing on the top of the pavilion.
ReplyDeleteI'm enchanted by the small building behind the heart, its architecture is lovely and very French. Plant art...I don't think I've heard of that before. I don't think what they do in a florist shop in a strip mall here would be considered plant art, so I'd be intrigued to see what they do at the castle!
ReplyDeleteTres joliment fait ce coeur fleuri. De belles photos bien cadrees.
ReplyDeleteAnd neither Jim Dine or Robert Indiana anywhere in sight.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this. Wouldn't that be fun out in the pasture. The horses would probably eat it though.

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful the artist is and also the photographer's shot -- you done good!
ReplyDeleteC'est battement est tellement romantique!Jolie photos!

ReplyDeleteI can't say anything against 'baroque exuberance'...
ReplyDeleteVery romantic
ReplyDeleteSoooooooo beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteAh!
ReplyDeleteDommage
Bon début de semaine

We enjoyed the Petit Trianon - really like this flower heart frame!
ReplyDeleteOh, how pretty! How can one not LOVE these photos?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. That heart is beautiful Very exuberant but certainly not out of place considering its surroundings.
ReplyDeleteThe flower-heart is lovely, but the building it frames is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! Your gardens in France are so lovely! The heart is a perfect frame :D
ReplyDeleteA perfect marriage of man and nature...
ReplyDeleteThe second shot is perfectly executed, Ciel. I like the composition and the colors are great. Very well done.
