Ah le printemps !


Ah, spring! The wisteria on what I call "wisteria" street in Montreuil neighbourhood smells beautiful! Last year's wisteria posts can be seen by clicking on the label below. The clematis is so pretty too when it frames a window!

Les glycines de ce que j'appelle la rue des glycines à Montreuil sentent merveilleusement bon ! Pour voir les photos de l'année dernière, cliquez sur le tag "wisteria" ! La clématite aussi est jolie quand elle encadre une fenêtre.

    Wisteria reminds me of my grandmother's yard when I was a little girl. I wish I could get it to grow here. I have a hardy version which I planted two years ago. So far it is only amout 30 centimetres tall.

    I do like wisteria. I didn't even know what it was until I posted a photo which included some. A few bloggers mentioned wisteria. Now, I see it in various places in central Florida.

    Clematis - I don't know if I'd even recognize it. Sure is pretty, though.

    It all looks so fresh and pleasant. I'm in Louisiana at the moment, where the City of New Orleans is already beginning to simmer. No oil smell yet.

    To answer your question: American Airlines dropped St. Louis as a hub. Back in the glory days, TWA had 410 departures a day from out city. The number dropped and dropped after American took them over. Now AA has 20 flights a day. We have all our frequent flier credits on AA so we have to change in Chicago or Dallas to get most places.

    Superbe photo avec les glycines. Oui les fleurs et les temperatures plus clementes c'est plus agreable...
    On peut fumer dans les resto au Japon. Ceux ci proposent parfois coin fumeur ou non mais il n'y a pas de separation reelle.

    Oh, gorgeous flowers, Ciel! I love flowers wrapped around windows and the wisteria is spectacular. I'll be glad to see the flowers start blooming here.
