Some of you might remember this snowy square in the winter. If not, you can click here. This is almost the same scene if greener!

I do remember this quite well. I think I like the current view, although the covering of snow did lend it a certain charm. I wonder if that's the same bike? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like the sunny (and warmer) view better. It looks more inviting.
ReplyDeleteThere were more bikes around with the snow!
ReplyDeleteLovely spring scene but the snowy scene is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI like coming here in winter and in spring. Is this part of a daily walk for you?
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this shot, I jokingly thought to my self, "I wonder if the bike will be in the Winter shot". No, there were MORE bikes in the Winter shot. Very nice shot.
ReplyDeleteI remember this post, but thanks for the link, it's nice to see so beautiful shot again!I prefer Spring for sure but...I need to confess that I'm in love for that winter scenery, beautiful capture!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I don't know if you enjoy the weekend in Germany with your family, anyway I hope you had a fabulous weekend , here the weather was not sooo cool. And a friend advised me it's normal this time of the year, oh gosh...
:) hugs

Somehow I like the snowy scene better, the colors draw you in more although the shade of the green trees I'm sure is a welcomed delight in summer. I love the name of the square, St. Louis. That's the name of my 'hometown' in the State of Missouri, USA.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I clicked I thought it looked familiar. I do remember that snowy photo.
ReplyDeletesuch a contrast and it offers you very different photography opportunities. I like the sunny view better! I hope all is well. We have been working far too much lately. I am glad you enjoyed the Phoenician resort photos on my site. I have started a week of cool macro photos. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI like it better sans neige.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see the scene in the sunshine. I love the bicycle waiting for a trip in the sun.

@ Brattcat: no, unfortunately, it isn't!
Nice idea to link the pics.
ReplyDelete«Louis» n'aime pas la neige. Il beaucoup préfère cette scène!
ReplyDeletePerfect lazy, warm (looks it anyway), tranquil spot and photo. And thank you for your compliment, you made my heart smile; I can only hope that one day I could get close to being a master!
Trés belle photograph Ceil. J'aime la neige aussi!
