A supermarket with an escalator? Unimaginable here - we're too flat, too short. On the other hand, I've seen multi-level supermarkets in many places in Europe, Japan, New York and Chicago.
Quite an artistic shot. Ciel, we need to figure out an exchange program. You live in my house for a couple of weeks and Iin yours. How happy I would be!
That must be one very large supermarket! I must confess that I prefer to shop for groceries in smaller stores, even if I have to shop in several paces to find what I want or need.
You asked if I know if my feed is working. Ummmm. How do I find out? I know for sure that the Internet is very slow here today and that I keep getting messages that say "Try Again."
I can't believe you have an escalator in your supermarket! It must be a huge store.
@ all: it certainly isn't a large supermarket, nothing like a WalMart! It's just that we don't have so much space in city centres -or elsewhere if we still want a bit of nature- so we build higher!
@ Stine: I don't know :-( it's just that the thumbnails of your blog aren't appearing in my blogger reader...
Thank you for visiting and leaving a thought! Sorry about the moderation, a bit tired of spam at the moment!
More Close Encounters that a scene from a supermarket. OK, I'm fantasizing too much... but I really believe this. Can almost heart the tunes!
ReplyDeleteROUGE! Mais oui!!!

Nice shot. I bet the person in it has no idea that people all over the world are looking at his picture, :)

ReplyDeleteYes, we just spread out our supermarkets and take up as much space as possible. What a novel idea, to build them UP, not OUT!

ReplyDeleteComfortable and boring, that's how I feel about these mercantile palaces.
ReplyDeleteWell snapped!

ReplyDeleteI love the colors. The red and gold look so rich.
ReplyDeleteVery eye catching perspective and colors in this photo! I love the deep gold and red colors.

Up Up and Away to a new place where we all can play.
ReplyDeleteIts all interesting how the new and old all mesh together with purpose.
Thanks, Cieldequimper. Another blogger had this problem when I first started the blog and then It seemed to go away. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteWish we had escalators in our markets here. Going up is a great idea, especially if you get nature to enjoy as a result. Great colors.
ReplyDeleteLove the reds on this one!
