Still last Sunday's pictures: the gardens of the Grand Trianon castle in the palace grounds, in their autumn splendour.
---------------
I think I'd appreciate more these beautiful gardens in autumn, than under the summer sun!
ReplyDeleteI will never get over the rampant beauty of this place...I do want to go back when it's not so cold and take more time to wander about.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Ciel.
The topiary work throughout the palace grounds is so impressive. I am glad the republic preserves some of the glory of the monarchy.
ReplyDeleteI look at the garden and think of all the work that it must take to keep it looking so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAwe inspiring! I can't imagine the work that it must take to keep the gardens so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI was in the garden by the natural history museum in Paris. It was incredible. These gardens are such works of art and a pleasant place to stroll. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAutumn splendor is right. The greens seem greener in the fall light.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments on my blog. MB
I love pruning trees. I envy the guys who get to do it here!
ReplyDeleteSalut Ciel!
ReplyDeleteMagnifique jardin!
Bon week-end

ReplyDeleteBon weekend !
Autumn is my favorite time in the garden and these gardens are sheer autumnal splendor. I envy your being able to wander among such beauty.
ReplyDeleteA truly beautiful spot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gardens and plants. Very nice work there.
ReplyDeletehow beautiful, the light is great and the colors and shapes of plants are dreamy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful garden. AND I see some neat autumn colors there too! My friend in Nice says they don't have trees that change colors so you are lucky, I guess!
ReplyDeleteIt must take an army of gardeners to maintain and care for the gardens. Nice shots.
This is just beautiful to see..
