A collage of four pictures in one for this month's theme day! This is the "Sisters Café", an American restaurant, great for Sunday brunch but also whenever you're feeling a bit peckish, ideally situated near the theatre and one of the main palace grounds entrances. The pancakes and burgers are excellent and the whole place is... yellow!
This post is of course dedicated to Todd who ought to laugh at the sight of French's mustard!

Great collage!
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice vintage yellow!
I love yellow, great pics....Barb
ReplyDeleteGood job, CQ. It took me awhile to absorb all the information, but I think that next time in Versailles I shall have to eat at the Sisters Cafe...or not. I hate to waste time eating in an American restaurant with all those beautiful French cafes around!
ReplyDeleteThis is very creative and cleverly done. The yellow really pops out of the image.
ReplyDeleteWould just love to have a burger there. Just looks so inviting.

It seems to be a very cool place! Great collage!
ReplyDeleteI like your collage and your choice for theme day ... it is so well done that at first I did not realize it was a collage ... happy theme day.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I used the mustard for today, too. Great minds think alike.
ReplyDeletewow that is color! Wake Up World! Happy Theme Day!
ReplyDeleteYellow is such a warm and comforting color and I'm sure a nice addition to the comfort food served here. So very glad you've got French's Mustard in France -:) Happy theme day!
ReplyDeleteIdéal pour les jours gris!
ReplyDeleteLove it, Ciel. More mustard than ketchup works for me. Looks just right for a quick burger stop, no matter where in the world are.
ReplyDeleteLooks a fun place and such a burst of colour in your collage.
ReplyDeleteWhouaaaah !
Great collage of this place full of yellows, perfect for this theme. It looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteTons and tons of yellow!
ReplyDeleteI like the place, the idea, the photos and the montage. Great choice.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice for yellow theme day. As Americans, when traveling abroad, we like to eat local food, but after three weeks in China, when we reached Hong Kong we went to the Hard Rock Cafe (for the only time in our lives) so I could have a burger and Julie could have some nachos and guacamole.
ReplyDeleteRetro Yellow. Tres chic.
ReplyDeleteWow! Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a place so bright you would never fall asleep:) Nice collage to showcase the theme and the restaurant.
ReplyDeleteExceptionally good upshot for the theme day. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteLove French mustard (extra the famous one from Dijon).
The cafe defintely look cosy to me.. feel like going in there, taking a sip and enjoying the atmosphere....
ReplyDeleteHappy Theme Day!!

ReplyDeleteMellow yellow!
ReplyDeleteSo many yellow things:) Great shot!
ReplyDeleteYou get the award (of course there isn't really an award) for the most interesting word used today! peckish!
ReplyDeleteWhat else but French's mustard in France !HA We will have to visit this place when we take our little trip out to Versailles. Eva and Davis will be thrilled to find a hamburger place I"m sure!!

love the pic of French's Mustard. Thanks for visiting the Chandler Daily photo. Today is April Fools day. Do you celebrate that in France? So, the beach was to fool people. We really don't have ocean front property in Arizona.
ReplyDeleteI just learned that April Fools day was started in France. "Poisson d'Avril" or something like that.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out your blog. My wife and I went to Versailles many moons ago. It was the only organized tour we took in France and it was packed with bus loads of people. Sadly, as we had to get back on our bus, so did everyone else and the palace was empty. Next time, we go it alone.
Looks like a very bright and cheery place to be!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! The French's mustard is a great touch.
ReplyDeleteI love the yellow. Feels like spring.
ReplyDeleteSharon
