Maybe I'm guessing wrong, but some of you might have been wondering if the palace is still there as I only rarely seem to go near it. Well... yes, of course it is still there and here's a little appetizer, because we will most certainly stop near or inside it from time to time... This here is one of the outer courtyard palace statues, standing in front of the royal chapel.

This will be enjoyable to see without standing in those long queues.
ReplyDeleteune très belle statue, tu as de quoi faire à Versailles. Elle représente quoi ?

I love the Palace! We were there in June and it was sooooo cold. But they had just reopened the Hall of Mirrors! We didn't get inside the chapel, though.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photo, Cielde. And thanks for looking at our blogs today and for all the nice comments!
Merci, merci! C'est tres jolie.
ReplyDeleteOh that's a stunning photo! I went to the palace once, but it was over 20 years ago - I don't think I really appreciated it at the time, i'd love to go back and see it again.
