Well you're certainly on fire at the moment, great stuff I love all the 'moody' skies pictures....I'm not much of a gardener but surely it's very early for buds, having said that we have a bush in bloom at the moment, it's a crazy world....
As lovely it is to see the buds, I worry about the long range health of the trees and flowers that are blooming so early. In particular the fruit trees if there should be a hard freeze yet to come.
We have buds out on the magnolias too and the temp today is -8˚C so they are probably rethinking the idea of an early spring! Winter has finally arrived.

ReplyDeleteCrazy! It's January, not April.
ReplyDeleteWow! Wouldn't expect these buds for several months. Is this a consequence of global warming?
ReplyDeleteThis weather is crazy. Magnolia buds in January???
ReplyDeleteCool. Another great French word to add to my lexicon. Merci.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are very early but we haven't had a winter at all yet...

ReplyDeleteNoch ein paar Tage, dann sind sie in voller Blüte !
Isn't it a bit early for those buds to be showing? I hope they don't freeze.

ReplyDeleteIsn't that a bit early? I shouldn't be surprised though, the weather has been so warm.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the magnolia's are as confused as we are. Yesterday was 15C, today is -1C with very gusty winds. Shorts or parka?
