These pictures were taken by VDP's friend Atelier Choco Turquoise in March 2015. An awful lot has happened at Latona fountain in the palace gardens lately. You had seen part of Latona fountain before its restoration on this blog here (with explanations regarding the mythology). To better see the state of disrepair it was in before restoration began, click here and scroll down a bit to about mid-page, under the video. In March 2014, VDP had also shown you the impressive three century old pipes being restored, that was here. Tomorrow you'll see what happened at the beginning of May. VDP couldn't attend (work and all that...) but her friend did!

Il s'est passé beaucoup de choses récemment au bassin de Latone Vous aviez vu Latone avant restauration sur ce blog, c'était ici. En mars 2014, VDP vous avait également montré l'impressionnante "araignée", la tuyauterie en cours de travaux, c'était là. Demain, vous verrez ce qui s'est passé début mai, VDP ne pouvait y assister (travaillant, toussa, toussa...) mais son amie s'y est rendue !
That's one of my favorite fountains...hopefully, it will be put back together even better than before!
