Last weekend, VDP took her Dad, who is a great amateur of historical comics, to this year's comics exhibition at the town hall. It is devoted to Hermann, one of the greatest! VDP will show you some of his works tomorrow so that you can be judges of how fantastic an artist he is!
A short film allowed to watch the artist at work, absolutely fascinating to see the ink wash painting and watercolour techniques!
I learn so much on your blog. I'd not heard of Hermann before but I do like what I see! And that town hall is very beautiful! I'm sure your dad had a great time!
ReplyDeleteComics and cartoons are of high interest to so many people, especially the historical aspect. What fun to enjoy this with your Dad.
