The shop owners of Saint-Louis neighbourhood have all decided to put small Christmas trees on the pavement in front of their shops! This one, outside le Carré d'Alice tea shop and restaurant, is adorned with cupcake baubles! These photos were taken last Saturday and I hope that these weren't stolen. Yes, it seems that a lot of the baubles in the neighbourhood disappeared over night... Unbelievable, right?
It certainly looks like a pretty ornament... and it makes one want a real cupcake!
ReplyDeleteThat's sweet.
ReplyDelete:)Beautiful decorations. The owner knows how to lure customers!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very 'sweet' place indeed ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Indeed, hanging cupcakes on the tree is a vast improvement on the simple colored balls.
ReplyDeleteStealing baubles: that's unusual even here, at least until now...
ReplyDeleteFun for the blind people!
ReplyDeleteFirst words that came to my head, "Oh, sweet!" ;-)
ReplyDeleteComme c'est joli!
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas trees are a very cool idea Ciel, the stealing of ornaments not so much :(
ReplyDeleteThank you for aller your nice comments and see you soon at Le Carré D'Alice
ReplyDeleteFancy baubles! Too bad some people steal and spoil other people's fun.
ReplyDelete... or attacked by birds. Good idea to pull the customers in.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute ornament.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised the trees weren't stolen. It's a nice idea, though, and lends a good deal of color to the area.
ReplyDeleteThere always seem to be some people who spoil things for everyone else. It was a lovely idea to have the trees, Ciel.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I prefer to think the best of people, but unfortunately too often idiots like the ones who stole the decorations prove me wrong.
ReplyDelete(I once had a wreath stolen from my fence in West Hartford. I decided to think that the thief needed the wreath more than I did.)
