Not very far from the palace, in the old streets of Saint-Louis neighbourhood, a little gem of a shop is unfortunately hidden from most tourist's usual brisk walk from the train station to the palace... This is where you can buy fun made in Versailles souvenirs and also have your 'royal' photos transferred onto tees, sweats, mugs or Iphone cases... It's called La Façonnerie and VDP recommends it as part of an off the beaten track visit of the city! These photos were taken last summer! VDP is away for the weekend, see you soon!
Non loin du château, rue du Vieux Versailles, se trouve la Façonnerie. A l'écart des circuits habituels des touristes qui se hâtent de la gare au château, en s'arrêtant chez Mc Do et Starbucks, voici une petite entreprise versaillaise qui propose pourtant de quoi rapporter des souvenirs personnalisés de Versailles... et aussi de "customiser" vos vêtements, tasses, coques de téléphone ! Ces photos ont été prises l'été dernier, VDP est absente pour le weekend, à très bientôt !
