There's a new shop in Montreuil high street. Called 'Day by Day', it is part of a chain of new concept stores where you can buy loose, unpackaged spices, tea, coffee, seeds, dried fruit, rice, pasta, various dried beans and peas mostly but not exclusively organic. Surprisingly enough, they also sell sweets (of the not-at-all-organic-and-very-bad-for-your-teeth-and-sugar-blood-levels sort!) It seems that they are in high demand. Ah, before you wonder, this below is liquid Marseille soap. The website is this way.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very interesting place and well worth a visit. Love that floor.
ReplyDeleteProbably a good mix with some healthy choices mixed with some candy. I'd shop there.

ReplyDeleteLove that last photo!
ReplyDeleteI avoid these stores, they cause stress to my bathroom scale. I think photographing the various containers would be fun, lots of patterns and colors.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to browse around such a store...and take photos. Did you buy anything?
ReplyDeleteAnother shop I could spend time puttering around in.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice shop. Who wants candy that's good for you - it probably wouldn't taste good! ;-)
