Tuyauterie

Yesterday, the season of the musical fountains afternoons began and the palace's hydraulic engineer team has been very busy lately! This is Apollo's chariot basin a couple of weeks ago. I had shown it to you here during the night fountains show.

Hier, la saison des eaux musicales diurnes a commencé au château et les fontainiers ont été aux petits soins pour préparer les fontaines ! Ca, c'est le bassin du char d'Apollon tel qu'il se présentait il y a une quinzaine de jours ! Je vous l'avais montré ici durant les eaux nocturnes,

    It will be interesting to see it in summer. I assume that when the basin is filled, the pipes are submerged?

    I don't know about the musical fountains. We will have to look into it before we get to Paris.

    BTW, due to Jilly's schedule, it now looks more likely that we will be in Paris at the end of our trip and over a weekend.

    You have shown that fountains are more than water and sculpture. There is a lot of infrastructure behind the scenes, or under the water.

    Yes there's no way those pipes would be on show during the summer season I bet Ciel. I absolutely loved this fountain, the sculpture is brilliant.
