Very often, VDP has a craving to hit the road in the USA. To try to calm it, VDP went to see the movie 'Nebraska' (a black and white film) and hey presto, was on Interstate 90W heading out of Billings, Montana! I had shown you Roxane cinema from the outside, it was high time to show you the inside! Loved the movie by the way and can't wait to be back on I90!
Seems strange to me that there should be interest among the French in American culture.
ReplyDeleteA very nice theater. Now I'll have to check out the movie. I noted something about it the other day but paid no attention.
ReplyDeleteRe your comment: No, not kidding but not really in any danger. They only eat once a month! :)
I literally haven't been to a movie in years!!! But every now and then I get curious and that's where I find myself after reading that once in the movie you found yourself heading out of Billings, MT!! We raised our family in Great Falls, MT and visited Billings frequently!! Have to try and find this one!!
ReplyDeletetres moderne commme cinema. D'accord avec toi, quand je vois ces grandes routes sans fin, ca donne envie de partir conduire aux USA
ReplyDeleteI confess I haven't seen this movie! But, I have been on plenty of U.S. interstates. I long to visit France and you long to visit the U.S.
ReplyDeleteLet us know when you are coming, I will fix fresh eggs for you if it is this fall! lol
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this one either... but I have been to the movies this weekend.
ReplyDeleteNot tired at all.
ReplyDeleteBillings is one of the most god-forsaken towns I've ever seen in this country. But then I 90 will take you to Seattle.
ReplyDeleteLoved that movie too. When I want to travel via a movie I watch Under the Tuscan Sun.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm---Nebraska in black and white---hmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteSee you on I90--soon???
MB
Ça a l'air sympa, la Roxanne ! C'est bien quand un film nous transport ailleurs. :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Nebraska too. I've never been to Montana but from what I've read and seen, it looks a good place.
ReplyDeleteYou must want to see the States bad if interstate highway scenes from Nebraska are satisfying!
ReplyDeleteTu as réussi à passer l'Atlantique en voiture ?
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Images: You don't like these shoes? Colorful shoes like this are becoming more common. And yes, I think they will "glow" (sort of) in the dark which means they'd be great for runners in the early morning or at dusk. :) Try a pair; you might like 'em. Or not. :))
ReplyDeleteP.S. You ought to see some of the golf shoes being worn today! Ugh.
I haven't seen that movie. I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that movie. I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI liked the movie, but I have seen it at home...
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the movie Ciel.. Have you seen Le Weekend? An English movie set in Paris, sooo good!
ReplyDeletep.s. it was P who pointed out the submarine trail to me, he had spotted it before it submerged..eyes like a hawk he has :)
