Oh, good on you! That first shot is a marvelous moon shot! How did you do that? My favorite of the three, though, is the 2nd one - it's so well composed shooting the moon through the tree branches with the cross shining in the sky! Well done!!
That moon shot is impressive ! Back in the old days (look out, here I go) when photographers shot with film, it was common to take a photo like yours and then save the undeveloped film in the refrigerator (this extended its storage time). Later, one would pull out that film and re-expose it with a night shot and voilà, there's a moon added to the scene. (Alignment was tricky as you might imagine.) This was called having moons in the refrigerator. Thank goodness things are so much easier now with PhotoShop !

ReplyDeleteMagical!
ReplyDeleteThe strangest thing if that keep snowing on your pictures, even on the Moon!
ReplyDeleteVP made me smile but I'm glad it's not my eyes :) What lens did you use to take this shot Ciel, such a super image.. a real blue moon!
ReplyDeletegreat shot of the moon - I'm wondering what that effect it is too that causes the snow effect on mouse-over - I'm not sure I like that much.
ReplyDeleteI see the "snow" effect is over the whole page not just the photos - it is not so noticeable on the white background.
ReplyDeleteThat moon shot is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe first shot is hand held with a point and shoot then merely darkened in Picasa.
ReplyDeleteThe moon is superb.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful capture of the moon!
