Oh, can you imagine the luminous light from these! Beautiful...(though I also think of a million movie gags involving crashing chandeliers, heehee).
We shamefully almost didn't make it to the Pantheon, even though the hotel was right across! Hope you get to visit soon, esp. after all those years nearby:) (If nothing else, it's very cool during Paris heatwaves:)

Now that is a light fixture!

Very grand, I imagine they look amazing when they are lit!
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy admiring them because of their intricate details.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I like both compositions.
ReplyDeleteOk, time for minimalist Versailles now?!
ReplyDeleteThey are so elegant. I wonder if they are original. I remember our guide at the palace telling us that some of the chandeliers were copies.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is my favorite here, I think. But to get the full effect one would have to see how it fit in the room.
I can just imagine the ambience they would create Ciel..magnificent!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is super fancy. I'm not sure they'd fit my decor, but I'd love to have one. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. They are so beautifully designed with so many artful details. I'd love to be in the room when they are lit.
ReplyDeletevery grand!
ReplyDeleteAfter the first enchantment I always think who would dust that thing!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Lumière and wonderful shots!
ReplyDeleteIn my home they would be a bit too big :)
