Engagement photo perhaps? Looks like a medium format camera, an expensive specialty. I like the mono a little more , but not much, they are both great.

What an amazing scene to stumble upon! I love your choice to do b&w or sepia. I'd love to know what these old-timey photogs were up to (nosy me:)
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for sepia. It's a fantastic scene right out of the 1920s! Beautiful job, Ciel! Smile! Hold it! Just a bit longer! OK!
ReplyDeleteI do agree with Lowell! A scene right out of the 20s indeed! Love the sepia! Terrific! Hope your week is going well, Ceil!!
ReplyDeleteso cool to find an old time camera being used!
ReplyDeleteI like the b&w shot.
ReplyDeleteThe photographer's clients must be wealthy. Those one-shot film cartridges for a large view camera cost a fortune.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice. Old style photos cry out for that silver gelatin look.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't ask, but I'm voting sepia. Adds to the old timey feeling.
ReplyDeletesuperbe photo et les deux traitements vont tres bien
ReplyDeletesepia is wonderful!

ReplyDeleteIl me semble avoir reconnu Olivier derrière l'appareil.

ReplyDeleteYes, amazing scene. Lucky you! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll take the black/white.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with sepia at the moment Ciel, so the second image gets my vote..
ReplyDeletePlease send me a copy of the original in color, I am probably the only one one this planet who will like it as is...
ReplyDelete@ VP: I knew you would be. I'm sorry! :-( And I don't even have the original anymore.
ReplyDeleteJ'ai une petite preference pour le noir et blanc. Mais les deux sont superbs.
